Accommodation

Our accommodation plan envisages a conveniently compact WTTC set up. Proposed accommodation concept intends to create a single accommodation and transportation nucleus: the one around the Olympiysky Sports Complex with Prospect Mira Avenue as axial and Third Transportation Ring as radial transport connections between Athletes Village (Cosmos Hotel), the venue, the ITTF Headquarter hotel (Renaissance Hotel), umpires hotel (Holiday Inn Suschevsky), media hotels, and city centre.

For players’ and teams’, ITTF officials, sponsors and VIP guests accommodation we propose a 4-star Cosmos Hotel located just 3 km. from the venue immediately on the area’s major transportation route – Prospect Mira Avenue. The hotel was a host to athletes on numerous occasions. Last time it hosted athletes of the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

We propose to accommodate the ITTF officials, sponsors and VIP guests in a 5-star Olympic Penta Renaissance Hotel located just few meters form the Olympiysky Sports Complex.

Umpires will be lodged at a comfortable Holiday Inn Suschevsky Hotel located within minutes from the venue and the HQ hotel.

For media representatives accommodation we recommend to options: 4-star Holiday Inn Sokolniky and a comfortable 3-star Izmailovo Gamma-Delta. Both hotels offer close location to the venue.

By the end of 2007, the number of hotels operating in Moscow will exceed 350. This will expand capacity to 39,800 rooms with 69,200 beds. By 2010 Moscow plans to build 200 new hotels. The Moscow hotel rating system is in full conformity with the international “star” rating.
